Alkem Laboratories founder Samprada Singh passes away

Drug firm Alkem Laboratories on Saturday said its Founder and Chairman Emeritus Samprada Singh has passed away.

"We would like to inform you that the company's Founder and Chairman Emeritus of the Board of Directors of the Company, Samprada Singh expired today morning," the company informed the exchanges.

Singh was a pharma industry veteran with over 43 years of experience in the Indian pharmaceutical industry.
