Advinus in talks to outlicense diabetes drug molecule

Advinus Therapeutics has completed initial trials of a new molecule to treat type II diabetes and is in talks with a few global drugmakers to outlicense the molecule.

If the molecule is commercialised it could have a significantly higher efficacy and safety profile over the existing drugs available in market to treat the diabetes in the market, Rashmi Barbhaiya, CEO and managing director, Advinus Therapeutics said.
