MSD inaugurates 2.5 lakh sq ft tech centre in Hyderabad

Located in Hitec City, the centre will support MSD’s global Human Health business and form part of the company’s worldwide technology network. Teams in Hyderabad will work on enterprise technology solutions and collaborate with MSD teams globally.
Telangana IT and Industries Minister D Sridhar Babu, who inaugurated the facility, said Hyderabad’s life sciences ecosystem is moving beyond its traditional manufacturing base
“Over the last two years, we have been deliberate about taking this ecosystem from manufacturing scale to the next generation of discovery, innovation, advanced R&D and global capability creation,” Babu said.

The new centre is expected to enable Hyderabad-based teams to work on enterprise solutions for MSD’s global operations, adding to the city’s role in supporting global healthcare and life sciences innovation.
The company’s expansion comes as Hyderabad seeks to build greater convergence between its technology and life sciences ecosystems. The state government is also developing a 2,100-acre life sciences zone as part of Bharat Future City, including a specialised 100-acre hub for advanced biologics.
