India is stepping up genome sequencing of COVID 19 positive samples amid growing outbreaks in China, Japan and South Korea
Taking cognizance of a sudden spurt of Covid cases in Japan, US, Republic of Korea, Brazil and China, the health ministry has directed all states to conduct genome sequencing of positive cases to check for any new variant.
