Ozone signs MOU with Ansal API to open 10 clubs by FY13

NEW DELHI: Healthcare and fitness service provider Ozone Fitness n Spa today said it has entered into an agreement with real estate group Ansal API to open 10 luxury fitness clubs by the end of next fiscal.

"We have entered into an pact with Ansal API to open 10 clubs by the end of next fiscal," Ozone Fitness n Spa Pvt Ltd Managing Director Naveen Kandhari told PTI.

As per the terms of the franchise Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) entered between both the companies, Ansal API would open 10 luxury Ozone fitness n spa centres in its commercial properties.

"We will be adopting the 'FOCO' model which means that all the new facilities will be franchisee owned and company operated," he added.

The company said that all fitness clubs will be operated under the brand name 'Ozone Fitness n Spa'.

The clubs will be operated under the franchise system of Ozone and would be in both tier I and tier II cities including metros, it added.

Commenting on the tie up Ansal API MD Pranav Ansal said: "We are very pleased to have an association with Ozone as through this tie-up we will be able to provide value added facilities to our patrons, as Ozone is the best name to trust in fitness."

At present, Ozone is operating seven health clubs and spas with each designed in an area of nearly 12,000 square feet.
