India Diabetes Week in Delhi

Global healthcare company Abbott is sponsoring a country-wide educational program, called ‘India Diabetes Week’.

New Delhi: To raise awareness of diabetes in India and to encourage its advocacy through educational sessions, global healthcare company Abbott is sponsoring a country-wide educational program, called ‘India Diabetes Week’.

During India Diabetes Week, free educational sessions on diabetes management, including blood glucose testing, diet and exercise will be offered in Delhi and the NCR region in various hospitals. Complimentary diabetes screenings will also be offered. Local healthcare professionals, diabetes experts and pharmacists will raise awareness of proper diabetes education and management.

India has the highest population of people living with diabetes in the world, with more than 50 million people in the country suffering from the disease.
