Healthcare services firm Birla Pacific Medspa to open 55 Evolve centres over 3 years
Healthcare services firm Birla Pacific Medspa today said it plans to open 55 medspa centres under the 'Evolve' brand across India over the next three years at a cumulative investment of Rs 55 crore.
"The company will invest Rs 55 crore in setting up new centres around the country. The company plans rapid expansion in the next three years to come," Birla Wellness Group CEO & MD N Venkat told media in a e-mailed response.
The firm is looking to explore new areas like cosmetic dermatology, weight management, cosmetic surgery and dentistry as part of the expansion programme, he added.
The Evolve centres would be primarily opened in metros, tier-I and tier-II cities, with the majority of them company- owned, though some would be through the franchise route.
"We are also keen on setting up our IVF (In vitro fertilisation) centres," Venkat said.
Additional money will be spent on managing the centres, the company said.
Birla Pacific Medspa is a joint venture between the Yash Birla Group and Pacific Healthcare, one of East Asia's leading healthcare providers, with healthcare facilities in Singapore, Hong Kong and China.
At present, the company has five centres in Mumbai at Walkeshwar, Bandra, Worli, Borivali and Andheri and has franchisees at Thane and Chennai.
