Genetix appoints Labmate as mkt partner

BANGALORE: UK-based robotics manufacturer Genetix has appointed Labmate (Asia) Pvt Ltd its marketing partner for microarrayers and microarray scanners in India.

Hi-tech instruments of the company, to be available in India would deliver high throughput gene expression analysis aimed at genomics labs and research and drug discovery firms across India, a UK Trade and Investment statement said.

Genetix offers the latest linear drive technology robotics for Micro Arraying, Protein Excision, Cell Screening and selection, liquid dispensing and a host of related Reagents and consumables, it said.

Labmate's customer base includes leading research establishments in life sciences of ICAR, ICMR and CSIR labs, universities and major hospitals with research facilities.
