UMPPs too risky to make investments: CLP India

UMPPs are too risky to make investments because of their size, CLP India managing director Rajiv Mishra said here on Thursday.

TOKYO: Ultra mega power projects ( UMPPs) are too risky to make investments because of their size, CLP India managing director Rajiv Mishra said here on Thursday.

The government plans to bid four UMPPs—in Odisha, Tamil Nadu, Jharkhand and Bihar—in plug-and-play mode over the next three-six months.
