WAPCOS declares dividend of Rs 2.40 crore
State-owned Water and Power Consultancy Services India (WAPCOS) has declared a dividend of Rs 2.40 crore for the year 2006-07.
The company, which presented the dividend cheque to Minister for Water Resources Saifuddin Soz on Wednesday declared a dividend of 120 per cent of its paid up capital for the year 2006-07, the highest ever since its inception in 1969, an official release said.
WAPCOS provides consultancy services in the critical areas of water resources, power and infrastructure development.
It has ongoing projects in Afghanistan, Cambodia, Zimbabwe and Bhutan.
