UK to share energy saving technology and practices with AP

HYDERABAD: The UK government plans to share latest technologies amd best practices in energy efficiency with Andhra Pradesh to enable the state achieve energy savings worth about Rs 7,500 crore.

"Our commitment has been demonstrated by the work of the High Commission's Energy, Climate and Growth Unit with various stakeholders. In the state of Andhra Pradesh, this includes legislators, media, industry associations and think tanks," McAllister said in a letter to the AP chief secretary, according to a press release issued by AP government.
