Torrent Power SEC gets HC nod for merger
Torrent Power SEC Ltd has received approval from the Gujarat High Court for merger of the company, Torrent Power AEC Ltd and Torrent Power Generation Ltd with the parent company, Torrent Power Ltd.

MUMBAI: Torrent Power SEC Ltd has received approval from the Gujarat High Court for merger of the company, Torrent Power AEC Ltd and Torrent Power Generation Ltd with the parent company, Torrent Power Ltd.
The High Court at Ahmedabad passed an order yesterday, sanctioning the Scheme of Arrangement including amalgamation of Torrent Power's three subsidiaries with it, Torrent Power SEC informed the Bombay Stock Exchange.
Last month the shareholders had given their nod to the scheme of arrangement.
Shares of Torrent Power SEC were trading at Rs 349.90, up 1.01 per cent at the BSE today.
