Tata Power joint venture synchronises 67.5 mw unit in Orissa

“The synchronising of Unit 1 of the IEL Kalinganagar project marks a significant milestone in its quest for environmentally benign generation and we are delighted with this achievement. As per our commitment to sustainability, the technology used for the project is environment friendly and helps cut down the greenhouse gas emissions as compared to regular coal-fired power stations,” said Anil Sardana, CEO & Managing Director, Tata Power.
Tata Power, along with its subsidiaries and jointly controlled entities, has an installed gross generation capacity of 9,036 mw and a presence in all the segments of the power sector.
