Tata Power commissions 24 MW wind farm in Gujarat

Tata Power successfully commissioned a 24 MW wind farm at Rojmal in Gujarat through its subsidiary, Tata Power Renewable Energy.

MUMBAI: Tata Power today said it has commissioned a 24 MW wind farm in Gujarat.

"Tata Power successfully commissioned a 24 MW wind farm at Rojmal in Gujarat through its subsidiary, Tata Power Renewable Energy (TPREL)," the company said in a statement here.

The total capacity of the project is 54 MW and with the commissioning of addtional 24 MW capacity, Tata Power now has a portfolio of 511 MW wind energy.

This 24 MW wind capacity is expected to generate around 52 million units per year.

Tata Power's total installed capacity, today, stands at 8,750 MW and the clean and renewable energy capacity at 1,383 MW.

The company has wind farms located across various states such as Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka.
