Tata Power, NTPC and AMP Energy emerged as lowest bidders in Solar Energy Corporation of India's (SECI) auction seeking supply of 1200 MW of hybrid power. The winning price of ₹2.53 per unit showed an upward trend reflecting impact of basic customs duty and high input prices.

Tata Power submitted bid for 600 MW, NTPC for 450 MW and AMP for 150 MW.
