Suzlon's German subsidiary REpower bags order worth 247 mn euros
The wind turbine supplier bagged orders in Australia, France, Germany, Italy and Poland, a company statement said.
The fifth largest wind turbine supplier in terms of cumulative installed capacity, bagged orders in Australia, France, Germany, Italy and Poland, a statement issued here.
"These orders clearly underscore the continuing momentum in the wind sector across the developed markets," Suzlon Group chairman Tulsi Tanti said.
He said the orders highlight its strong outlook and long-term business visibility driven by strong competitive global positioning as a group.
The projects include several wind farms in Germany featuring REpower's latest turbine models.
The company's global spread extends across Asia, Australia, Europe, Africa and North and South America with nearly 20,000 mw of installed capacity in 30 countries, operations across 33 countries and a workforce of over 13,000.
