Suzlon Energy bags order from Malpani Group for 29.70 MW projects

Suzlon in a statement said the order is for setting up, operating as well as maintaining projects having a capacity of 29.70 MW.

NEW DELHI: Wind turbine maker Suzlon Energy today said it has received a repeat order from Malpani Group for setting up projects having a total capacity of 29.70 MW.

Maharashtra-based Malpani Group has interests in various areas, including wind energy and real estate.

Suzlon in a statement said the order is for setting up, operating as well as maintaining projects having a capacity of 29.70 MW.

"The project will take Malpani Group's total wind capacity to more than 125 MW, enough energy to power more than 72,000 Indian households," the statement noted.
