RInfra commissions Parali-Solapur transmission line

The 150 kilometre-long 400 kv double circuit transmission line is part of the Western Regional System Strengthening (WRSS) project, which entailed an investment of about Rs 1,400 crore.
In a statement, RInfra said its subsidiary Reliance Power Transmission Ltd has already commissioned three transmission lines of the project, having nine lines of total length of 1,500 kilometres.
"Once commissioned, the project will facilitate free flow of 4,000 MW power from power rich Eastern Region to the power starved Western Region of the country," it added.
RInfra is executing five transmission projects, with a total outlay of over Rs 6,600 crore.
The company has interests in power, roads and metro rail projects, among others.
