The power ministry on Monday convened a meeting of the India Energy Stack taskforce to accelerate the development of the country's digital public infrastructure (DPI) for the sector.

The meeting involved a collective review and strategic discussion on two core elements - the draft strategy document and the architecture document.

The taskforce, comprising domain experts from the technology and power sectors and regulatory bodies, held deliberations to capture high-level strategic guidance from all members.


The initiative, touted as the unified, secure and interoperable digital backbone for the entire energy value chain, is being implemented with REC Ltd as the nodal agency and FSR Global as the knowledge partner.
