PFS okays fresh loans of Rs 825 crore for clean energy

PTC India Financial Services today said it has sanctioned fresh loans of Rs 825 crore to expand its renewable energy portfolio.

NEW DELHI: PTC India Financial Services has sanctioned loans aggregating to about Rs 825 crore for providing assistance to power and infrastructure sector in the country, the non-banking financial company said on December 28.

The company’s board sanctioned the loans at its meeting held on December 26, it said.

The fresh round of loan approvals will help the company expand into renewable energy projects, an official statement said.

With this, the loans sanctioned by the company during the current fiscal increased to about Rs 4,330 crore, compared to Rs 3,562 crore during April-December 2014.
