PFC extends Rs 1329 crore loan to Uttarakhand utiltiies
Loan documents for Chilla project and agreement for execution of Rs 817 crore have been executed between PFC and UJVNL and PTCUL.

NEW DELHI: Power Finance Corporation ( PFC) has extended financial assistance of Rs 1329 crore to state power utilities of Uttarakhand.
The loan inlcudes Rs 309 crore to Uttaranchal Jal Vidyut Nigam Ltd.( UJVNL) for rehabilitation and upgradation of Chilla hydroelectric project and Rs 1020 crore to Power Transmission Corporation of Uttarakhand ( PTCUL) for implementation of various transmission schemes.

PTCUL had earlier executed loan documents for financial assistance amounting to Rs 203 crore with PFC.
