NTPC may re-tender Rs 25,000-cr equipment order

NEW DELHI: State-run NTPC's Rs 25,000-crore bulk tender for sourcing energy efficient equipment may be floated again due to some issues in the document submitted by one the potential bidders.

"It (NTPC bulk tender) can be re-tendered," Power ministry official said.

However, NTPC Chairman and Managing Director RS Sharma said, "The matter (re-tendering) is under consideration. Unless it is put up to a competent authority, I cannot comment on the issue."
