NTPC, Maharashtra's MAHAGENCO ink deal to acquire Sinnar Thermal

New Delhi: Maharashtra State Power Generation Company (MAHAGENCO) and NTPC Ltd have signed a shareholder agreement for acquiring Sinnar Thermal Power Ltd, a company which is undergoing a corporate insolvency resolution process.

The resolution plan submitted by the consortium was approved by the National Company Law Tribunal in November, the central government company informed the exchanges.
