NTPC issues 2,600-cr global tender for power equipment

The power producer plans to call bids for expansion of the other project at Gandhar within a month. Power equipment suppliers, including Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd, Larsen & Toubro-Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Bharat Forge, Siemens and General Electric, are expected to bid for the Kawas and Gandhar expansion contracts, the official said.
