BSES today announced launch of their door-step service (DSS) which would allow a customer to get "status check" and other services.
BSES Rajdhani Power Limited and BSES Yamuna Power Limted today announced launch of their door-step service (DSS) which would allow a customer to get "status check" and other services on its 24x7 interactive voice response system (IVRS) call centre numbers.
A BSES customer, under the DSS, can apply for new connection, load enhancement or reduction, name change, address correction, category or tariff change without leaving their homes.
"All they have to do is to call BSES' IVRS based call centre numbers, select the 'door step service (DSS)' option or simply visit the web site www.bsesdelhi.com and fill up a simple form," a statement from the discoms said.
Subsequent to a customer's request, a BSES representative would visit their residence at a mutually convenient time and help the customer complete the required commercial formalities (including application form, affidavits, and indemnity bonds etc) and collect the requisite documentation within a stipulated timeline.
