NCC Power in talks with investors to raise equity up to 900 cr

NCC Power is in talks with external investors to cough up equity for its power project in Andhra Pradesh, said KV Rao, chief executive of Nagarjuna Infrastructure Holdings. A deal size could go up to 900 crore, it is learnt, reports Our Bureau from Bangalore. On Tuesday, NCC Power, a group firm of NCC, had acquired 55% stake in Nelcast Energy's 1300 MW Krishnapatnam power project in Andhra Pradesh for 270 crore.
