KPTL bags three orders worth Rs 600-cr in India, Congo
The Congo order from SNEL is for design, supply and installation of 400 KV-279 kilometre DC transmission line from Inga to Kinshasa on a turnkey basis.
With the receipt of these orders, the total order-book of KPTL stands at Rs 5,300-crore, a press release issued here stated.

The project is to be completed in 24-months and is funded by the European Investment Bank, the release said.
The two orders in India are from the Power Grid Corporation for supply and erection and commissioning of 765 KV-238 km transmission lines in the states of Orissa and Madhya Pradesh.
Power Grid is India's central power transmission utility and is presently implementing an ambitious programme of grid expansion and modernisation aimed at integrating an aditional 37,000 MW of power to facilitate inter-regional transmission of electricity across the country.
SNEL is the national electricity company of the Democratic Republic of Congo, engaged in power generation, transmission and distribution.
