KEC International bags orders worth Rs 1,565 crore

MUMBAI: RPG Group’s flagship infrastructure company, KEC International, has bagged orders worth Rs 1,565 crore for power transmission and distribution and cables, the company said in a statement on Monday.

In its transmission and distribution businesses, the company picked up orders worth Rs 1,458 crore from India, Bangladesh, Oman, Malaysia, US and Brazil.

KEC said it has received orders worth Rs 107 crore for the supply of power and telecom cables.

"With these orders, our year end order book has strengthened considerably especially in the transmission and distribution business. We believe this combined with our strong L1 (lowest bidder) pipeline will help us deliver robust performance in the Financial Year 2015-16," Vimal Kejriwal, managing director and chief executive officer, KEC International said in the statement.
