KEC International bags new orders worth Rs 612 crore
KEC International Ltd, an RPG Group company, has secured new orders worth Rs 612 cr in its transmission, power systems, cables and water businesses.
NEWS DELHI: KEC International Ltd (KEC), an RPG Group company, has secured new orders worth Rs 612 crore in its transmission, power systems, cables and water businesses. The company said it has secured various orders in India and overseas.
KEC bagged a Rs 210 crore order from Power Grid Corporation for supply and erection of 765 kV single circuit transmission lines between Meerut in Uttar Pradesh and Moga in Punjab on turnkey basis. SAE Towers, a wholly owned subsidiary KEC International, has secured various orders for supply of lattice towers to Brazil, Mexico and the United States. The total value of these orders is Rs 224 crore, KEC International said in a statement.
Besides, the firm has forayed in Uganda by securing Rs 53 crore order for design, supply and construction of 33 kV distribution lines and associated low voltage networks on turnkey basis.
It has also won orders worth Rs 81 crore for supply of power and telecom cables, the official statement said.
KEC International secured Rs 44 crore order for establishment of water system civil works for NTPC's super thermal power project in Solapur, Maharashtra. The project duration is 30 months.
