Infrastructure EPC major KEC International announced on Saturday that it has won turnkey orders valued at ₹2,872 crore from Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd (PGCIL). The contracts entail the design, supply, and installation of high-voltage 765 kV transmission lines.

With these latest contracts, the RPG Group firm's year-to-date order intake has surpassed ₹13,500 crore, driven by a ₹9,500 crore contribution from its core Transmission and Distribution (T&D) division.

Commenting on the landmark deal, Vimal Kejriwal, MD & CEO of KEC International, stated: "The orders secured from PGCIL include the largest-ever order for our India T&D business.
