Kalpataru Power Transmission wins Rs 604 crore-orders; shares rise over 3%
Kalpataru Power Transmission has bagged orders worth Rs 604 crore for electricity transmission projects, the Mumbai-headquartered engineering company said Monday.
Reacting to the order wins, Kalpataru Power Transmission shares rose almost 3% to Rs 91.20 on the Bombay Stock Exchange at 13:25 IST. BSE's Sensex was trading 1% down from its previous close at 18,788.31.
Kalpataru Power Transmission bagged an order worth Rs 571 crore for setting up two transmission line projects for state-run Power Grid Corporation of India. The company also bagged orders worth Rs 33 crore from a private company, the name of which it did not disclose.
Kalpataru Power Transmission is an engineering, procurement, and construction company catering to power transmission and distribution, oil and gas pipeline, railways, infrastructure development, civil contracting and warehousing and logistics business.
The company is currently executing projects in India, Africa, the Middle East, Australia, North America and Far East.
