Kalpataru Power Transmission and its international units have won orders worth Rs 1,345 crore, according to a stock exchange filing.

The specialized engineering, procurement, and construction bellwether has won the orders in India and overseas market in the transmission and distribution (T&D) business, according to the filing. It also bagged orders for pipeline laying works secured in joint ventures or in consortium, and for Metro Rail Electrification in India secured in JVs or in consortium.

Shares of the company surged 7.4% to Rs 433.15.
