Kalpataru Power Transmission bags over Rs 550-crore projects
The completion period for the projects is 27-months and these projects are funded by the Agence Francaise de Development and European Investment Bank.

KPTL has signed two contracts with KETRACO, Kenya. The combined value of both the projects is to the tune of Rs 450-crore-plus, a press release issued here stated.
The completion period for both the projects is 27-months and these projects are funded by the Agence Francaise de Development and European Investment Bank.
KETRACO, owned by the Kenyan Government, designs, constructs, operates and maintains new high voltage electricity transmission lines which will form the backbone of the National Electricity Grid.
KPTL has also received another order from Parbati Koldam Transmission Company, a joint venture between Power Grid and Reliance ADAG for supply and erection of 400 kv D/C Koldam-Ludhiana Transmission Line. The total value of the order is Rs 100-crore, the release said.
The company's order-book is presently in excess of Rs 5,200-crore.
KPTL's executive director, Manish Muhnot, said that "we are proud to be associated with KETRACO on the first 400 kv line in the country which will provide much-needed infrastructure to make Kenya self-reliant in addressing its energy needs."
"Our current order-book is very healthy in terms of profitability and judicious mix of domestic and overseas projects," he added.
