Kalpataru Power Transmission bags orders worth Rs 660 crore

Kalpataru Power Transmission said it has bagged orders worth Rs 660 crore that includes setting up transmission infrastructure in Thailand.

NEW DELHI: Kalpataru Power Transmission today said it has bagged orders worth Rs 660 crore that includes setting up transmission infrastructure in Thailand.

"Kalpataru Power Transmission Ltd ( KPTL) has been recently awarded Rs 660 crore contracts for setting up transmission networks," the company informed the BSE.

Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand ( EGAT) has placed a Rs 280 crore order on KPTL.

Besides, it said, state-owned PowerGrid Corp has placed a contract on KPTL for setting up Gwalior-Jaipur transmission line.

KPTL provides engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) services for power transmission and distribution, oil and gas pipeline and railways.

Shares of KPTL were trading at Rs 84.3, up 2.43 per cent in the afternoon trade on BSE.
