Jakson Group receives Rs 200 crore EPC orders last fiscal

In a statement today, Jakson said it bagged Engineering Procurement and Construction orders to the tune of Rs 200 crore in the last fiscal.

NEW DELHI: Jakson Group bagged EPC orders worth Rs 200 crore for its electrical contracting and solar businesses in the last financial year ended March 2014.

The orders were received from various companies including Wipro, L&T, Siemens and BHEL.

In a statement today, Jakson said it bagged EPC ( Engineering Procurement and Construction) orders to the tune of Rs 200 crore in the last fiscal.

During that period, the company executed Rs 150 crore worth orders.

"Despite a lacklustre economy, we ended the recently concluded financial year with sizeable orders from our EPC Business Division on the back of our strong footprint in the power solutions business," Jakson Group Managing Director Sameer Gupta said.

Jakson, which has four companies in its fold, has overall revenues of more than Rs 1,450 crore. Its businesses include generating sets, power distribution, solar power and electrical contracting.
