New Delhi: The government expects induction cooking to add 13-27 GW of power demand, depending on household adoption levels, amid rising purchases of e-cooktops. "It is expected to introduce an additional layer of demand particularly in the morning and evening peak hours," said K C Panigrahy, director general, Bureau of Energy Efficiency.
