MUMBAI: Indowind Energy Ltd said on Friday it has acquired a 8.25 mega watt wind farm from Andhra Bank. The wind farm has been acquired under the Securitisation and Reconstruction of Financial Assets and Enforcement of Security Interest Act, the company said.

The act empowers banks and financial institutions to recover bad loans without court intervention.
