GVK Power acquires 46 pc in GVK Industries

MUMBAI: Hyderabad-based GVK Power and Infrastructure on Tuesday said it has acquired 46 per cent in GVK Industries for an undisclosed amount.

The company has acquired over 12.06 crore shares in GVK Industries following approvals from the Delhi and Andhra Pradesh High Courts, GVK Power informed the Bombay Stock Exchange.

Further, GVK Power said its associate company Mumbai International Airport Pvt Ltd has awarded duty free contract to a Singapore-based company DFS Ventures. The amount of the three year contract was, however, not disclosed.

Shares of GVK Power were last trading at Rs 774.90, up 0.81 on the BSE.
