GE gets Kotla flooglights contract
General Electrics (GE) was on Thursday awarded the contract for installation of floodlights at the Ferozeshah Kotla Stadium which will host seven day/night matches for the Indian Premier League starting from April 18.

NEW DELHI: General Electrics (GE) was on Thursday awarded the contract for installation of floodlights at the Ferozeshah Kotla Stadium which will host seven day/night matches for the Indian Premier League starting from April 18.
Bajaj, Philips and Kapil Dev co-owned Dev-Musco also submitted tenders but the Delhi and District Cricket Association Executive Committee awarded the contract to GE.
"GE's bid was the lowest and the contract was given to it," a DDCA statement said.
The installation of flooglights will be completed by March 31, it said.
