Gati Infrastructure today said it has commissioned its first 110 MW hydro thermal power plant in Sikkim.

NEW DELHI: Gati Infrastructure today said it has commissioned its first 110 MW hydro thermal power plant in Sikkim.

" Gati Infrastructure Ltd...commissioned its first 110 mw hydro power plant in Sikkim," the company said in a statement.

The company had entered into a pact with the Sikkim government for implementing three hydro power projects on build, operate, own and transfer basis (BOOT).

"The commissioning of the hydro power project is a big milestone in the history of Gati Group. Being a logistic expert our success into the power sector --a completely diverse industry -- is a huge achievement," founder and CEO of Gati Ltd Mahendra Agarwal said in the statement.

Gati Infrastructure is a subsidiary of Amrit Jal Ventures Ltd (AJVL) promoted by Agarwal.

AJVL is implementing two more hydro electric power projects in Sikkim--54 MW Bhasmey Hydro Electric project (under construction) and 71 MW Sada Mangder project, the statement said.
