Fault in boiler of thermal station hits power generation

TUTICORIN: A boiler of the third unit of the thermal station here developed a fault last evening, affecting power generation, officials said today.

The Tuticorin thermal power station has five units of 210 mw each and the boiler of the third unit got punctured.

Due to this power generation was affected, officials said, adding work was on to rectify the problem.
