Era Infra bags Rs 430-cr contract from NTPC

NEW DELHI: Era Infra Engineering (EIEL) Ltd today said it has won a contract valued at Rs 429.69 crore for civil work at NTPC's thermal power project in Chhattisgarh.

"EIEL...has secured a contract from NTPC...for civil works of main plant and offsite civil works package for Lara Super Thermal Power Project stage-I (2x800 MW) in Raigarh district of Chhattisgarh," the company said in a BSE filing.

The scope of the work includes the entire civil work of main plant and offsite work, including construction of a chimney, the company said.

Era Infra Engineering Ltd is engaged in construction of roads, bridges and power plants.

The shares of the company today closed 0.83 per cent down at Rs 131.25 apiece on the BSE.
