Energy Development signs pact with K'taka Govt

Energy Development Company Ltd has signed an agreement with the Government of Karnataka to set up a hydro-power plant at its Harangi Project site.

MUMBAI: Energy Development Company Ltd has signed an agreement with the Government of Karnataka to set up a hydro-power plant at its Harangi Project site.

The company has signed the agreement with the Karnataka government for setting up an additional capacity hydro power plant of 6 MW at the project site, it informed the Bombay Stock Exchange today.

Shares of the company were trading at Rs 48, unchanged from the previous close.

Last month the company had received orders worth Rs 68 crore for supplying turbine and generation sets with all associated accessories, to be executed within the current financial year.
