Easun Reyrolle bags USD 94 million project

CHENNAI: Easun Reyrolle Ltd, a power transmission and distribution company, has bagged a USD 84 million project through its subsidiary ERL Switchcraft GmbH, from Australia-based Energex Ltd.

The order valued at around USD 84 million is expected to be completed over a seven year period, Easun Reyrolle Ltd said in a statement.

Energex is one of the largest electricity corporations in Australia.

Easun Reyrolle Ltd would manufacture some of its key components at new facility in Bangalore, set up at an investment of Rs 80 crore.

Besides bagging the latest project, Reyrolle has won several export contracts particularly in the Middle East and Africa for supply of ring main units and power protection systems, the statement added.
