Diamond Power Infrastructure on Tuesday announced that it secured an order worth Rs 179.43 crore from Adani Electricity Mumbai Ltd (AEML) to supply underground power cables.

Standing at a value of ₹179.43 crore inclusive of GST, the purchase encompasses approximately 871 km of cable in aggregate — 33 kV and 11 kV medium-voltage cable together with the associated 1.1 kV low-voltage cable, said the statement released by the company.

It also said that the price included packing, forwarding, and freight and transit insurance.

According to the company, Adani Electricity Mumbai Ltd (AEML) had issued a Letter of Award for the supply of additional medium-voltage and low-voltage underground power cables for the Mumbai distribution network.

The release also said the formal purchase order is yet to be issued by the customer against this Letter of Award.
