DFC in pact with IREDA for renewable energy development

Mumbai: IDFC Projects has entered into an agreement with Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency (IREDA) to structure and implement a renewable energy development programme.

The agreement envisages the establishment of renewable energy industrial parks as well as the execution of renewable energy projects in the public-private partnership model, a release said here on Wednesday.

The MoU was signed between IDFC Projects' Managing Direcrtor, Pradeep Singh and IREDA Chairman Debasih Majumdar, it said.

IREDA is a public-sector enterprise under the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy and is dedicated to facilitating the development of sustinable energy in the country, the release added.
