Coal minister Sriprakash Jaiswal has said no power plant would be closed in the coming days due to coal crisis.

NEW DELHI Coal minister Sriprakash Jaiswal has said no power plant would be closed in the coming days due to coal crisis. “No power station would be closed due to shortfall of coal in the coming days,” he said.

In April, the production of Coal India, which accounts for over 80 per cent of the domestic coal production, has been has been better in comparison to the same month over the last two years, he added.
