CMI Energy lands $150 million India deal

A US-based energy firm has landed a $150 million contract to help build a new power plant in India.

ERIE (PENNSYLVANIA): A US-based energy firm has landed a $150 million contract to help build a new power plant in India.

Officials at CMI Energy tell the Erie Times-News that the deal is the company's largest ever.

The company will oversee the engineering and other aspects of six heat-recovery steam generators that will be used at the plant and expects to expand from 72 to 80 employees as a result.

CMI Energy is a division of Cokerill Maintenance & Ingenierie of Belgium.
