Birla Power allots 12.80 lakh shares to BCCL

Birla Power Solutions Ltd, the Yash Birla group company has allotted 12.80 lakh equity shares on a preferential basis to leading media house Bennett Coleman and Co Ltd for Rs 5.50 crore.

MUMBAI: Birla Power Solutions Ltd, the Yash Birla group company has allotted 12.80 lakh equity shares on a preferential basis to leading media house Bennett Coleman and Co Ltd for Rs 5.50 crore.

In a communique to the Bombay Stock Exchange on Monday the company said it allotted the shares of Rs 10 each to BCCL on a preferential basis at a price of Rs 43 per share.

Shares of Birla Power were up 4.24 per cent on the BSE on Monday, trading at Rs 30.70.
