BHEL FY09-10 turnover at Rs 3,708 cr
BHEL has also seen a 20 pct increase over previous year's profit , its exec director said.
Stating this, Executive Director of BHEL, Bhopal M K Dubey told reporters here today that the unit also earned an amount of Rs 602 crore in profit before tax leading to 20 per cent increase over previous year's profit of Rs 498 crore.
The Executive Director declared that for 2010-11 a target of Rs 4,650 crore has been set and added that this was a challenging task in the present global economic situation.
"But with a dedicated and committed team of about 7,650 employees, we can do wonders," Dubey said.
Answering questions, he said that the quality of products made in India was much superior to that China and this fact has been demonstrated many times all over the world.
